Searching for volunteer opportunities in nutrition? Share your passion for healthy food and community service by volunteering with The Nutrition Center.  From grant writing and office tasks to hands-on cooking and community event participation, we can create a meaningful experience for you.  TNC has several programs/cooking classes that are fun and educational.  Volunteers can assist in a variety of ways including preparation, set-up, or photography during the event.

  • Food Adventures: A program that teaches hands-on cooking skills to inspire children to cultivate a healthy relationship with food.  
  • Fresh Start Cooking Classes: Healthy cooking classes and nutritional guidance for young families and low-income residents.
  • Community Cooking Classes: Adult cooking classes on various food and nutrition topics. View our class inventory here.
  • Berkshire Food Web: An online directory that maps community food access resources including: pantries, community meals, farmers markets, and community gardens.
