Food Adventures Goes to Conte

Food Adventures has begun conducting classes in Conte Elementary School in Pittsfield, MA for the 2011-2012 school year.  The first classes consisted of making soups, vegetables dips, spaghetti squash spaghetti and homemade tomato sauce.  Each session the students are gaining more knowledge about food and kitchen safety, fruits and vegetables, and cooking.  Food Adventures corresponds with the school’s curriculum by accenting subjects such as math, art, science, geography, and reading.

Funding for Food Adventures at Conte was generously provided by both Berkshire Bank and Greylock Federal Credit Union.
